BEC RFP – ANNOUNCEMENT: Part 2 Window is Open!

The Part 2 Window for the BEC RFP is open. Important dates relating to Part 2 Proposals are:

Friday, May 08, 2026	Capacity Bid Assurance Collateral

You can access the online Part 2 Form using the same login credentials you used to access the online Part 1 Form.

Bidders have the option to submit cash or a Pre-Bid Letter of Credit to meet the bid assurance collateral requirements for a Company. Please follow the instructions provided to you for submitting bid assurance collateral for the procurement event(s) in which you are participating. These instructions were provided by email on March 19, 2026.

The final list of acceptable modifications for the Pre-Bid Letter of Credit for each procurement event is posted to the Final Materials page of the Block Energy and Capacity section of the procurement website. NEW! A Pre-Bid Letter of Credit for AIC or for ComEd executed for the Spring 2026 BEC RFP may serve as Bid Assurance Collateral for the Fall 2026 BEC RFP by incorporating an acceptable modification to Paragraph 1 that extends the Expiration Date of the applicable Pre-Bid Letter of Credit. Please refer to FAQ-BEC-18 for additional information.
