BEC RFP – REMINDER: Bids Due Monday, April 20!
The Bid Date for the block energy procurement events under the Block Energy and Capacity Request for Proposals (“BEC RFP”) is Monday, April 20. The Bid Windows are as follows:
- 8:30 AM to 10 AM CPT for Products and Combinations for the 2027-2029 Delivery Years;
- 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM (NEW!) CPT for Products and Combinations for the 2026-2027 Delivery Year. Please take note that this second window is closing 30 minutes later than in prior years.
The above timeframes apply to all three Companies. Please note that if the bid assurance collateral for a Company is insufficient to support the Bidder’s Bids for all Delivery Years and the deadline for submission of the 2027-2029 Delivery Years has passed, a Bidder will not be allowed to amend its Bids for the 2027-2029 Delivery Years. Please see your Part 2 Proposal Complete Notice relating to the block energy procurement events for the number of blocks supported by your bid assurance collateral.
To submit your Bids, you must have on hand the following documents distributed to you by the Procurement Administrator:
- Your Bid Forms; and
- Your confidential information for the Bid Date (light purple background).
