Energy Storage RFP – ANNOUNCEMENT: Agenda for Stakeholder Workshop #2 Scheduled for Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at 10 AM CPT
On February 26, 2026, the Procurement Administrator scheduled the Summer 2026 Energy Storage RFP. The target for this procurement is 1,038 megawatts (MW) of standalone storage, with 450 megawatts interconnected within the MISO Local Resource Zone 4 (“MISO LRZ 4”) and 588 megawatts interconnected within the PJM ComEd Locational Deliverability Area (“ComEd LDA”). This procurement event is being held pursuant to the Clean and Reliable Grid Affordability Act (“CRGA”, P.A. 104-0458).
The Procurement Administrator is hosting a series of three public stakeholder workshops related to the development of the supplier agreement and the eligibility requirements for the initial procurement event this Summer 2026 RFP. The second workshop, Stakeholder Workshop #2, is scheduled for Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM (CPT).
An agenda for this workshop is posted to the Draft Documents page of the procurement website. The new discussion topics for this workshop include labor and equity requirements. The agenda also includes resources to review in advance of the workshop.
