Energy Storage RFP – REMINDER: Stakeholder Workshop #1 Scheduled for Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at 1 PM CPT

On February 26, 2026, the Procurement Administrator scheduled the Summer 2026 Energy Storage RFP. The target for this procurement is 1,038 megawatts (MW) of standalone storage, with 450 megawatts interconnected within the MISO Local Resource Zone 4 (“MISO LRZ 4”) and 588 megawatts interconnected within the PJM ComEd Locational Deliverability Area (“ComEd LDA”). This procurement event is being held pursuant to the Clean and Reliable Grid Affordability Act (“CRGA”, P.A. 104-0458).

The Procurement Administrator is hosting a series of three public stakeholder workshops related to the development of the supplier agreement and the eligibility requirements for this Summer 2026 RFP. The first workshop, Stakeholder Workshop #1, is scheduled for Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 1:00 – 3:00 PM (CPT). An agenda for this workshop will be released on March 16.
